About National Pharmacy
National Pharmacy is an Irish-owned online pharmacy built on years of trusted community pharmacy experience. What began as a local pharmacy in Macroom, Co. Cork has grown into one of Ireland’s most established and trusted online pharmacy platforms.
From Local Pharmacy to National Online Store
National Pharmacy has its roots in Haven Pharmacy Burkes, a long-established pharmacy serving the local community in Macroom, Co. Cork. Under the ownership of pharmacist Seamus Burke, the business built a strong reputation for professional care, trusted advice and reliable service.
As part of this growth, an online store was developed to complement the physical pharmacy. Over time, this online platform grew rapidly and became one of the most popular and trusted online pharmacy stores in Ireland, serving customers nationwide.
About Us - A Natural Evolution
As the online store continued to expand, the business itself evolved. The physical pharmacy in Macroom was rebranded as Burke’s Late Night Pharmacy, reflecting its local identity and extended opening hours. Seamus also went on to take over a second physical pharmacy, Carrigtwohill Pharmacy, further strengthening the business’s presence in the Cork region.
With the online store now serving customers across the country, it made sense to separate and centralise the digital side of the business. This led to the creation of National Pharmacy – a dedicated online pharmacy brand designed to serve customers nationwide.
A Dedicated Online Pharmacy
Today, National Pharmacy operates as a standalone online pharmacy, focused entirely on providing customers throughout Ireland with convenient access to trusted healthcare, beauty and wellbeing products.
Our online store offers a wide range of:

All products are sourced from reputable manufacturers and supplied in line with Irish pharmacy standards.

While National Pharmacy operates online, it is built on real pharmacy experience – not just e-commerce.
